| Hello, I'm David Arbour, and I own and maintain this website. I currently work as a project coordinator in the process analyzer section of a petroleum refinery. I began my career as an instrument technician apprentice, and becamed involved with process analyzers just before completion of the apprenticeship. I've worked with process analyzers since that time. This site grew out of my interest in instrumentation and process control. The site originally contained HTML pages of links to sites of interest. The pages were difficult to maintain and keep current. The current site, hosted by Brinkster, opened new possibilities by offering Active Server Pages (ASP) technology. All the information about links, names, and descriptions are now contained in an Access database, and pages are served up dynamically using ASP. The site offers me the chance to share this information with the world, and also to expand my knowledge of databases and web technology. I hope you find the site interesting and useful.
